While CHD generally results from a build up of plaque in the arteries of the heart, CHD and heart attacks can also occur when the arteries aren't severely blocked.

INOCA is particularly common in women and happens when blood flow to the heart is reduced without major plaque build-up or visible blockages. Plaque build-up and the presence of traditional risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol are important to know, but they don't explain everything about heart disease.

A pretest questionnaire will help determine whether the Epi+Gen CHD™ or PrecisionCHD™ test may be right for you. Next you'll be redirected to our telehealth partner's platform where you will create an account and complete a health history questionnaire.

If prescribed, a sample collection kit will be shipped to your workplace. A phlebotomist will then come on-site to complete your blood draw and ship your sample directly to our lab.

Your results will be shared with the telemedicine provider within 10 business days of your sample arriving at our lab. You can schedule a follow-up consultation to review the results with the provider.

When filling out your health history questionnaire, you can choose to opt-in to receive post-testing support, at no cost to you. If you opt-in, a Patient Advocate will reach out to you after you have consulted with the telemedicine provider. The Patient Advocate will provide you with support and educational resources to help guide you along your heart health journey.
